COLUMBUS, Ohio – Jan. 22, 2025 – Radiant Alliance, an expanding consortium of nonprofit health and human services providers is proud to announce the addition of Erhardt Preitauer, president and chief executive officer of CareSource, to its Board of Directors. This significant development follows the finalization of a strategic alliance between CareSource, a nationally recognized managed care organization, and Radiant Alliance on October 30, 2024.

The alliance represents a shared vision to improve health outcomes and quality of life for individuals with complex health needs. By aligning CareSource’s innovative managed care expertise with Radiant Alliance’s comprehensive care and housing services, the collaboration aims to transform health care delivery while addressing critical social determinants of health.

“Erhardt’s leadership and extensive experience in managed care are invaluable as we expand our mission to serve vulnerable populations across the health care continuum,” said Karl Ulrich, board chair of Radiant Alliance. “Through his experience, Radiant Alliance will further its commitment to empowering our member organizations to adopt best practices, achieve operational efficiencies and engage in alternative payment models that drive meaningful change.”

Erhardt joined CareSource as president and chief executive officer in 2018. Under his leadership, CareSource expanded its operations in Indiana and Ohio while entering Arkansas, North Carolina and Wisconsin. The organization also entered Michigan with HAP CareSource and Mississippi through a strategic alliance with TrueCare. In addition to geographic growth, CareSource strengthened its services with the acquisition of The Columbus Organization. CareSource Military & Veterans also secured TRICARE Competitive Plans Demonstration contracts for the Atlanta and Tampa regions.

Radiant Alliance provider members, including Genacross Lutheran Services, Metta Healthcare (Ohio’s Hospice and Pure Healthcare) and United Church Homes, maintain their unique missions while benefiting from collective innovation and shared resources. Together, they offer an array of services, such as:
